A wedding gift that stays
Money in an envelope is spent quickly, an engraved piece is still in the kitchen years later. My wedding gifts carry the couple’s names and the wedding date: on a beech wood breakfast board, on the lid of the wedding keepsake chest, or on a folded card with room inside for your own wishes.
The keepsake chest holds what tells the story of the big day: place cards, the ribbon from the bouquet, the cards with the warmest wishes. You choose the line on the lid yourself. The breakfast board also comes with the line “Die geheime Zutat ist immer Liebe” (the secret ingredient is always love).
Every piece is made after you order, in my workshop in Bergisch Gladbach. If you like crafting, you will also find the “Dove” cutting file for invitations and favours.
What is a good wedding gift?
One that recalls the day instead of disappearing into a cupboard: with the couple’s names and the wedding date. The breakfast board gets used every morning, the keepsake chest keeps cards and photos.
How much money do you give for a wedding?
There is no fixed rule, it depends on how close you are to the couple. Many people put the money in a personal card: the wedding card gives the envelope a frame that lasts.
How long does delivery take?
I make personalized pieces after you order. They reach you in 7–10 working days within Germany and 9–12 working days in Austria, so order with some time to spare before the wedding.
